Football Analytics & Visualization
"When it's Arsenal, everyone has to say something!," Xhaka said. Of course it does, everybody has an opinion on Arsenal whether about what went wrong on the weekend game, why Saka isn't considered the best winger in the league, how can they bottled the Premier League title race, and what Arteta needs in the transfer market.
Often, the narratives surrounding Arsenal are being spun by lazy explanations dominating mainstream media and football twitter. I aim to myth-busting the noise surrounding the Arsenal narratives by translating insights & findings from data into terms anybody can understand.
Aside from a lifelong Arsenal fan, I’m an aspiring data analyst who has found a niche in the football analysis. Using tactical knowledge and numbers that comes about what happens on the pitch, I write considered opinions, data-driven insights, and data visualization to offer detailed insight into everything Arsenal and increase our knowledge of the game.
I deep dive into public data and video to scout players (mostly Arsenal's) and explain some tactical and other on-pitch concept. I’m dropping consise and easy-to-digest content about pre- and post-match analysis, individual player analysis, team analysis, or engage in particular debate on football twitter.
